Policies & Procedures
If any of these guidelines are not followed, you may be taken off Extras Management’s service immediately and without recourse. If you are kicked off service for violating these rules there will be no refunds:
- Availability
- It is very important that we have your available work schedule communicated to us on a weekly basis. If you find yourself having to change your schedule at any time, call us immediately.
- Confirmations
- You are required to contact us to confirm all bookings. Failure to do so can be treated as a cancellation of the booking. You can confirm by replying to your text message, email, or calling the confirmation number (818-530-5243). If you call to confirm you must state your name, spell the first three letters of your last name and indicate what show you are booked on. Please speak clearly and slowly.
- Recalls
- If you are recalled, call us immediately. Never replace yourself with another extra on a show you have been booked on.
- Direct Calls
- If a casting director calls you directly or you are otherwise booked directly, you should have that casting director contact us to confirm your availability; additionally, you must notify us immediately to avoid double bookings. Failure to do so may be treated as a work cancellation if we have inadvertently double booked you.
- Tardiness
- Punctuality is paramount; being late is not tolerated at all on any set. If you are late, you run the risk of losing that particular job and any potential future work. Don’t jeopardize your reputation or ours!
- Work Cancellation
- Cancellations are only accepted if you have a recall, are very sick or have an extreme emergency. If you find you have to cancel, you must call us immediately as well as the casting company that booked you. Cancellation of work because of your failure to notify us of your schedule is grounds for termination of our services and you may be sanctioned by the casting company that booked you.
- No Shows
- We recognize that there are circumstances which may prevent you from getting to the job. If there is any possibility of a problem with your being at the set on time, contact us immediately! We will try to help you to work it out with the Casting Agent. Your failure to do so may result in termination of our services as well as permanent termination by the casting company that booked you.
- Service Cancellation
- A 30-day written notice of cancellation is required and will take effect upon our receipt of notice. Please advise us if you do not wish to work during your notice period.
- Service Payments
- We accept cash, checks and most major credit cards; a handling fee of $15.00 will be charged on all returned checks.
